Electrify Your Independence Day Plans with This Line-Up of Patriotic Events
Get ready to show your patriotism in the most electric way possible! On July 3rd, the City of Las Cruces and New Mexico State University will once again team up to host the annual 4th of July Celebration. This free event will be held at the Pat and Lou Sisbarro Community Park on the New Mexico State University campus. Don’t miss it!
On July 3rd, the party gets started with an Electric 5K and One-Mile Fun Run. Following the run will be the Electric Light Parade, beginning at 9:00 p.m. The parade will begin at Apodaca Park and will adhere to the theme of “America Rocks!”
On July 4th, Legendary rockers Night Ranger will be headlining this year’s concert with ukulele sensation Jake Shimabukuro opening the show. The annual fireworks display will begin immediately following the concert. Gates open at 4 p.m. and food vendors will be on site. No grilling, personal fireworks, alcohol, RVs or overnight parking will be allowed.
