Try Food Made from Insects – If You Dare – During Bug Fest 2019
Locally recognized as the Best Place to Take the Kiddos, the El Paso Zoo sits on 35 acres of fun and adventure. This summer, the El Paso Zoo is excited to announce the return of Bug Fest! Bug Fest will take place this Saturday, August 10th from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Bug Fest celebrates all insects that are creepy, crawly, and crunchy. Guests will have the opportunity to interact with different bugs from all over the world and to even try some bug delicacies prepared by the Zoo’s executive chef. Additionally, guests can enjoy live entertainment, arts and crafts, games, inflatables, educational lectures from El Paso community partners, and much more.
Bigger and better than ever, the El Paso Zoo is an expansive green space that is home to exotic animals from around the world and features family attractions such as the African Star Train. The El Paso Zoo is a member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA). AZA envisions a world where all people respect, value, and conserve animals and nature.

Gear up for a day of adventure at El Paso Zoo when you attend Bug Fest! Ideal for the young and young at heart, Bug Fest is fun for everyone. Admission ranges from $7.50 to $12. Tickets can be purchased online at http://www.elpasozoo.org or in-person at the Zoo.
